Traditional performance by 11 brilliant floats along with festival music in Hanno city!
Hanno Festival is held on the first Saturday and Sunday of every November as one of the main traditions in late autumn in Hanno city.
On the first day, various events will be held such as float parades and stage performances and many local people can participate. At night, an unusual type of float which doesn't have a floorboard parade around the town.
On the second day, you can see traditional Hanno performing arts such as festival music performance and dance with 11 magnificent floats. The evening parade is the climax of the festival! The lanterns of each float are lit, and in the mystical atmosphere, the sounds of Hayashi(festival music) are echoed and dancers on the floats throw white threads to the audience. You can enjoy the powerful music and the cheers of the audience.
2020 will be the 50th anniversary of Hanno festival.

Must see! Spectacular view of 11 floats lining up altogether at the grand finale
Please pay attention to the differences between the floats with a revolving stage and dolls on top. You can take a photo with the floats in the background! The floats are pulled together and the foxes and Hyottoko dances on the float stage along with festival music.
